Account and access
Sign in, unlock dashboard access, troubleshoot payment confirmation, or delete your account.
Create an account or sign in
- Open Create an account.
- Enter Name, Email, and Password. The form requires at least two characters for the name and at least eight for the password.
- Select Create account.
After successful registration, you arrive at the dashboard. If you already have an account, open Sign in, enter Email and Password, and select Sign in.
The dashboard shows the apps owned by that account. If expected apps are missing, check the email shown in the sidebar account menu or under Settings → Profile.
Unlock dashboard access
Managing apps, releases, and agent tokens requires active VibeUpdate access. If your account does not have access, the dashboard shows Unlock VibeUpdate.
Selecting Purchase lifetime access opens Stripe checkout. Review the price and payment details there before completing the purchase. Creating an account by itself does not complete a purchase.
After payment, Stripe returns you to the dashboard. Access becomes active after VibeUpdate receives payment confirmation. The unlock screen checks for that confirmation automatically. Once access is active, the Apps page appears instead of the unlock screen.
Account Settings and Sign out remain available while access is locked.
You paid, but still see the unlock screen
- Stay on the dashboard while it checks for confirmation, or reopen Apps.
- Open Settings and check Profile. Make sure you are signed in to the same VibeUpdate account that opened checkout.
- If you are in a different account, sign out and sign in to the account you used for the purchase.
Do not submit another payment just to refresh access. Returning from checkout is not itself confirmation that payment has been recorded. If you canceled checkout or did not finish paying, access remains locked.
If you see Access is already active, reopen Apps rather than starting another purchase. If opening checkout reports Internal server error, the message does not identify the cause or confirm a payment. If you already paid, follow the account checks above and do not pay again. If you have not paid and checkout did not open, try opening it again later.
A fully refunded purchase no longer grants access. Agent connections also require the owning account to have active access, even when their tokens have not expired.
Sign out
- Open the account menu showing your name or avatar in the dashboard sidebar.
- Select Sign out.
Successful sign-out returns you to Sign in. If you see Could not sign out. Please try again., retry instead of assuming the session has ended.
Delete your account permanently
Account deletion cannot be undone. It removes your account and its apps, releases, and agent tokens. This is different from deleting one app, which has a 30-day restore window. Account deletion does not request a refund.
If you only want to remove a single app, use Delete an app instead.
- Select Settings in the dashboard sidebar.
- In Delete account, enter
DELETEin Type DELETE to confirm. The capitalization must match. - Enter your current password in Confirm your password.
- Select Permanently delete account.
On success, VibeUpdate returns you to Sign in. If the page reports that account deletion failed or the response is interrupted, the result may be unclear. Check whether you can still sign in and access the account before deciding whether to repeat the deletion. Do not assume either success or failure from a missing confirmation alone.
If sign-in is unavailable
Unable to reach the authentication service. Please try again. means the sign-in request could not complete. A dashboard message of Authentication service unavailable also means VibeUpdate could not verify the session. Retry later rather than creating another account to recover access.
If the dashboard redirects you to Sign in, sign in again with the account that owns your apps. The account page displays your profile but does not provide controls to change your name, email, or password.
